Gogo Boots GO: Talkers & Doers

Unit 22b, Penarth Centre, Penarth St, London, SE15 1TR

This show is for over 18's only. ID may be required at the door.
Description

Charlie runs a bridal shop. Clelia is getting married. The two women exist as strangers, their lives running in parallel without ever touching, until their paths intersect.

As they search for the perfect dress, they spill secrets, laughter and desires with a familiarity that defies logic. Their story unravels and it becomes clear that Clelia and Charlie share a connection which runs deeper than it seems.

In an hour of razor-sharp writing, the play dissects the inexplicable connection which links these two women and unearths years of internalised shame, questioning and repressed sexualities.
