Push // Pull

1 Phoenix St, London, WC2H 8BU

Description

Push // Pull is a bold and honest piece of cabaret theatre that blends personal stories, music and comedy to explore the highs and horrors of chasing success. Through intimate storytelling, reimagined songs and moments of absurdity, it asks what happens when ambition becomes addiction and the performance never stops.

Written and performed by Calum McElroy, with musical direction by Mehran James McCullough, Push // Pull invites the audience into the tension between wanting more and wanting out. Calum and Mehran met while training at drama school and have since gone on to build careers across stage and screen. Now in their mid-twenties, they return to the rehearsal room to create something unfiltered, self-aware and deeply personal.

Push // Pull is about the chaos of striving, the cost of pretending and the power of telling the truth.
