TAMIW

48 John Bright St, Birmingham, B1 1BN

This show is for over 18's only. ID may be required at the door.
Description

Left Field band TAMIW was formed in 2018 by vocalist Tami. Their 1st album, "flower vases", was released the same year. In 2019, they completed a 20-show tour in the United States. Their 2nd album, "future exercise", followed in 2020. Since then, their work has been produced at Hidden Place, a recording studio located in a temple in Osaka's Sakai city and run by the band.

While operating as a band, they base their sound on electronic tracks featuring bass music and hip-hop elements, with an extensive use of sampling and analog synths, creating alternative music with a refined sense of balance.

Supported by Dead Happy:

Dead Happy don't write songs, they conduct experiments. If Frankenstein got into the music business the result would be Dead Happy. The mad man behind this eccentric abomination is Professor Partorius who utilizes elements from the likes of Mindless Self Indulgence, System of a Down and Electric Six among others.
