Hidden Door is set to stage a final spectacular takeover of The Paper Factory, a massive industrial site in west Edinburgh, for the 2026 edition of the multi arts festival.

SATURDAY HIGHLIGHTS

MUSIC: Skye natives Valtos present their acclaimed High Water Mark show, fusing traditional Gaelic folk with club-ready electronic music. Later that night in the club space, Fred Deakin, the legend behind Lemon Jelly, will take to the decks to play us out. Plus, electronic group HANSKLAMMER bring high-voltage psych rock with a punk edge and a synth underbelly, with a set shaped by the Paper Factory itself, and check out a theatrical performance from maniatrix featuring a sonic blend of ambient electro and dark industrial dance tracks, complete with airy vocals and surrealist visuals.

PLUS: Spoken word with Iona Lee and Josh Cake / Dance from multidisciplinary artist Dorine Mugisha, experimental artist and choreographer Ellen Crofton, award-winning duo PCK Dance and Lothian Youth Dance Company / Stunning installations from dozens of visual artists / Brand new commissioned collaborations between artists, musicians, dancers and performers, joining forces to create something unique for this year’s former factory space.
