From caring for pets and protecting wildlife to advancing veterinary medicine and animal welfare, working with animals offers endless opportunities to make a difference. Animals inspire us to explore, discover and connect with the natural world in meaningful ways.

During the event, there will be a Q&A in the Theatre from people working across a wide range of animal-related careers, who will share their experiences caring for, studying and protecting animals and then open up the floor to questions from the audience.

For the rest of the evening, you are free to explore interactive activities and demonstrations throughout the building. Meet experts from research organisations, charities and universities across the UK. Learn about the wide range of roles that support animal health, welfare, conservation and research, and take part in hands-on activities that bring these careers to life.
